The Artistry of Cueing explores the power of language and how the words we choose can shape a student’s experience on the mat. More than simply telling students where to place their bodies, skillful cueing creates clarity, encourages curiosity, builds connection, and gives students the space to experience their practice from within.
In this module, you will explore how to communicate movement with purpose, learning when to speak, what to say, and equally important, when to allow silence. We will examine the relationship between breath, movement, timing, tone, and language, developing cues that are clear and intentional without overwhelming the student with unnecessary instruction.
You will learn to layer cues thoughtfully, moving from foundational direction into breath, sensation, energetic awareness, and deeper exploration. Rather than relying on memorized scripts or striving for the “perfect” cue, you will develop the ability to observe, respond, and communicate in a way that supports the individual experience of the people in front of you. Throughout the course, we will explore different approaches to cueing, including anatomical and directional language, breath-based cues, sensory and experiential language, transitions, modifications, and the intentional use of imagery. You will also examine how inclusive and invitational language can create greater agency, allowing students to make choices and build trust in their own bodies.
At the heart of The Artistry of Cueing is the development of your authentic teaching voice. Through practice, observation, and refinement, you will learn to communicate with greater confidence while letting go of the need to fill every moment with words.

Teacher Bio
Yoga found me during a season of life when I needed more than just movement—I needed a way to reconnect with myself. What began as a physical practice quickly became a lifelong journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth. That experience continues to shape the way I teach today.
As an ERYT-500 and YACEP, I have the privilege of guiding both students and aspiring teachers in discovering that yoga is not about perfection or performance, but about cultivating presence, resilience, and authenticity. My classes and trainings are designed to create a supportive space where curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and every individual feels empowered to find their own voice.
Over the years, I've learned that the greatest teachers are also lifelong students. My commitment to continued education allows me to blend traditional yogic philosophy with modern understanding of anatomy, movement, and mindfulness, offering a balanced approach that honors both the roots of yoga and the needs of today's practitioners.
Whether I'm leading a teacher training, facilitating continuing education, or teaching a community class, my intention remains the same: to help others build confidence, deepen their practice, and carry the lessons of yoga beyond the mat and into everyday life.
I believe yoga has the power to transform not because it changes who we are, but because it helps us remember who we've always been. It is an honor to walk alongside my students and fellow teachers as we continue to learn, grow, and evolve together.
